Greetings and Blessings to your business in this new year!  
 

This month we are excited to focus on two key ingredients to your business - Your Vision Statement and Your Mission Statement. I would suggest that this week's meeting is extremely valuable for new businesses, but can be just as valuable to existing businesses who have never developed or have not fully utilized the power of their vision and/or mission statement.

In this unique and powerful session this week, we will discuss:

1) Why you need a vision and mission statement

2) What they are

3) How to write them

4) What to do with them

 

We invite other CPA members, business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs to join us for our next CPA meeting, this Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the Executive building, as we start this year with great expectations for an awesome year for our businesses and to be an even greater blessing and service to others in 2012.

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Always seek knowledge. "The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.." Proverbs 18:15. I'd encourage you to join and network with us at our meeting this week. As business people in various fields, we ALL have something to contribute to each other. Someone needs what you possess, and you can benefit from what others can contribute. Iron sharpens iron and there are greater chances for success when you hear from a multitude of counselors.

757 Wedding Professionals is an open group of wedding businesses with good business practices migrating around the Greater Hampton Roads 757 area to affiliate themselves with wedding venues and other respecting wedding businesses. Our goal is to be consistent in providing the best business contacts with these venues and assist in maintaining a preferred vendors list in each venue.

Monthly Vendor Blenders brings together respectable businesses to consider networking and follow professional business ethics. Each venue participating will benefit in upgrading their preferred vendors list or creating one for the first time. Brides are also invited at the end of that hosting month called "A Night With...", to feature those vendors and assist in promoting that venue as well as each other to assist in the planning of those attending brides and bring them that much closer to their wedding day! Brides attend based on their needs of attending vendors and their need for a reception facility, rehearsal dinner or wedding ceremony at that venue!

We have aquired our new location and have begun renovations. Yeeeeeaaaaaa! Long awaited and very exciting expansion for us.

At this point, we cannot give an opening date, but anticipate it to be within the next month or so. We will send periodic e-mail updates on our status to keep clients fully informed.

 

Our new location will have the largest silk flower department on the peninsula, a formalwear department, a rental/accessory display showroom, and a bakery.

 

Also, in our new showroom, our clients will be able visit other
on-site companies where you can have alterations completed, book an event planner/coordinator, book your dj, photographer, videographer, and even book your honeymoon or travel plans through a travel agency. Wow! Now that is convenience.

 

Later in 2012, Event Central LLC will be opening an on-site event room, which will accommodate a capacity of 100.

Right now though.....please visit us in our current showroom located at the address below.

Greetings and Blessings to your business in this new year!  
 

For those who are members of Calvary Revival Church I trust you were strengthened and restored from the time of consecration last month.  If you were in church this past Sunday, Bishop mentioned that all meetings this week (other than Crazy Church taking place tonight) are cancelled to give maintenance staff an opportunity to rest from the additional work involved with the daily prayer meetings we had last month.  Here's a word of encouragement from Minister James L. Standfield, our guest speaker during the November 2011 meeting.  

 

"God said... 'The earth is the Lord's and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein' (Psalm 24:1)  The word "fullness" in the scripture refers to the earth's wealth, fertility, and inhabitants.  The Christian Entrepreneur has to understand that God has dominion over all the earth, the whole creation belongs to him.  This means your customers, your resources, your money, the buyers, the banks, etc.  The Christian Entrepreneur simply enjoys it by God's permission.  Again, the Christian Entrepreneur simply must know and realize that everything is owned by the Lord, and therefore fully available to His creatures for sustenance."         

 

Again, there is no CPA meeting this month, but we look forward to meeting again at our normal monthly time and place on Thursday, March 1st, 2012
